C&S Mechanical was involved in the installation of the PAG project at the Bridgend Ford plant. The work involved the installation of pipework services for the process equipment and building services.
The final installation was in excess of 4000 meters ranging from 500mm diameter pipe to 10mm diameter pipe.
C&S Mechanical was involved in the concept, design and methods throughout the installation and final contract value was 1.8 million pounds.
The works started January 2002 and completion was achieved on time in August 2003

Visteon Swansea
C&S Mechanical was involved in the reorganisation of the Swansea site which manufactures components for the car industry. The works involved all aspect of the machinery relocation, electrical services, pipework services, mechanical services and extraction services.
C&S Mechanical were constantly on site form January 1998 through to March 2004, and were successful in completing numerous contracts on time and within budget.
The scope of works varied from the installation on full manufacturing line inclusive of heat treatment furnaces to installation of toilet within the factory.

C&S Mechanical competitively tendered and was successful in securing the full mechanical and electrical services for the refurbishment of four prison blocks. All operatives were vetted by the Home Office prior to approval of works.
The planning and logistical issues were of vast importance as the windows of operation had to be adhered to. C&S Mechanical carried out all tasks to a successful completion
The works started in the June of 2002 and completed December 2002, the value of the works undertaken was 1.1 million

Barkisland Mill
C&S Mechanical worked closely with Rhodes Brothers on the development of 64 bespoke apartments ranging from 180K to 380K. We had to take a flexible approached as clients needs and requirements changed due to floor space and equipement specification. The work involved all the electrical and plumbing works inclusive of all sanitaryware. The hot water system was supplied by individual pressurised water systems which gave the client huge satisfaction and the heating was supplied by wall mounted storage/convector units. The running cost for the heating was given to all potential buyers which as the client stated was a big selling point and was issued in the pre purchasing pack.
C&S Mechanical installed the plant room for the leisure facilities to provide heating and ventilation for the pool area.
The works started on March of 2000 and completed November 2003, the value of the works undertaken was 1.2 million

Tritech Precision Products Ltd Wrexham Ind Est.
Vanguard Building Services were involved with Tritech in the relocation of the manufacturing facility due to increase in work load. Vanguard Building Services arrange for the feasibility studies, initial design for mechanical and electrical services and the generation of the tender documents with scope and specification for companies to tender.
Vanguard Building Services took part of the tender process and successfully won the full turn key package which covered.
- Health & Safety ( CDM)
- Mechanical installation inclusive of process and heating pipework
- Electrical installation inclusive of lighting, mains and small power
- Machine relocation inclusive of de commissioning and re commissioning.
The works had to be complete within 60 days due to the intense orders in place. Vanguard Building Services completed the project in 48 days to the ultimate satisfaction from the customer. The value of the works was

Faiveley Transport, Birkenhead
C&S Mechanical were requested by Faiveley Transport to fully coordinate the relocation of its Leek facility to its head office at Birkenhead. The works included the relocation of the machining tools and to incorporate the same in the Birkenhead production system.
C&S Mechanical undertook all mechanical, electrical, internal machine relocation and office fit out together with all timing programmes to suit the production requirements.
